Due to our extensive product knowledge within the industry, we are able to supply the right product for the right job at an affordable price.

Integrating CCTV into our other security systems such as access control and intruder verification is another option for the ultimate security system. We have pleasure in introducing the next generation of CCTV to combat the ever-increasing threat of crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.
Whether is be a simple basic camera to cover the front of your home or driveway, right up to full commercial digital systems, we have the experience to get the job done. We use the very latest in digital equipment which enables crisp clear images to be recorded.
A digital CCTV system can provide instant alerts when trouble occurs, ensuring that crime against people, theft and vandalism are all substantially reduced, and if crime dose occur, CCTV recording can provide valuable evidence.
Each and every installation we undertake is subject to a site survey and risk assessment. By carrying out a full security survey we can identify key areas of vulnerability and provide a custom designed solution exclusive for your property.
Digital CCTV Recording (DVR)
This is one of the two most important factors! There are three types of DVR Recording Resolution qualities: CIF, Half D1 and D1.
CIF: This is the lowest and out-dated resolution-quality. Video and picture is produced at 320 X 230 Pixels. Proper IDENTIFICATION of suspects is unlikely and chances of success in court rather dim - unless the incident occurred very close to the recording Security Camera. Distant subjects and objects become very unclear.
Half D1: Semi Recording Quality / OK for Home and small business use, but does not produce fully professional and reliable evidence in all situations. Up to 720 X 260 Pixels.
D1: 1Install recommends this format always! D1 records at up to 720 X 520 Pixels, which is equal to DVD Quality! In a professionally set-up CCTV System even further distant suspects have a good chance of identification.
DVR Frame Rate
The overall frame rate (Frames Per Second FPS) gives the number of pictures that can be captured into the video stream every second over all Video Inputs together. So a 50 FPS DVR Recorder with four Security Cameras connected can record at a max. of 12.5 FPS per camera. A 100 FPS machine can capture 25 FPS (Real Time) per camera as long as only four cameras are streamed in.
Most CCTV Systems are set up to record at 4 to 8 pictures per second for every camera, but often revert to Real Time when certain incidents happen or motion is detected.
We highly recommend at least 100 FPS DVR for 4 Camera CCTV Systems, 200 FPS DVR for 8 Camera CCTV Systems and 400 FPS for 16 Camera Systems.
H.264 Compression Vs MPEG4
The new H.264 Video Compression is by far superior to the older MPEG4
1Install highly recommends H.264 because:
* It saves almost 50 % of Hard Disk Space
* It reduces storage cost
* improves Remote Monitoring and View over the Web- Applications
* Faster internet streaming
What is H.264
H.264 is perhaps best known as being one of the codec standards for Blu-ray Discs; all Blu-ray players must be able to decode H.264. It is also widely used by streaming internet sources, such as videos from Vimeo, YouTube, and the iTunes Store, web software such as the Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Silverlight, broadcast services for DVB and SBTVD, direct-broadcast satellite television services, cable television services, and real-time videoconferencing.
Our high quality H.264 systems offer CIF, 2CIF, 4CIF (D1) and DCIF resolutions which can be adjusted on a per camera (channel) basis from recording rates of 1/16th - 30 fps and synchronized MP3 quality audio recording on every channel in Variable or Fixed bit rates.
We have a professional H.264 DVR to suit your High Demanding Security Solution

Using CCTV in Police Investigations
For CCTV recordings to be effective in detecting and investigating crime they must be fit for purpose and easily accessible by police investigators. For digital CCTV there are 4 main areas that must be considered:
• Data Quality – Are the pictures good enough.
• Data Storage – Are the pictures stored appropriately?
• Data Export – Can the pictures be easily exported from the system?
• Data Playback – Can the pictures be easily viewed by authorised third parties?
